Dr. Matthew Clark is a great and passionate speaker who participates on panel presentations and industry events to share his knowledge. He explores the overall impact of mental health including the effects of ADHD, anxiety, depression and self-esteem on both individuals and societies. Aside from his professional point of view, he provides a rather unique point of view and to a significant extent personal point of view, based on his experience as an LGBTQIA+ individual. This discourse should be shifted from the problems to the strengths and potential of every individual, according to Dr. Clark, who is committed to changing the discourse.
Dr. Clark is a licensed expert in psychological testing and diagnosis, and he has a wide knowledge in this area. He was trained at two of the country's leading pediatric developmental centers in Chicago and New York City. In addition, he worked as a mental health consultant for early childhood centers and preschools in New York City, which helped young learners and their families.
The goal of Dr. Clark is clear: to encourage people, build their character, and encourage them to use their strengths to overcome their challenges as they move forward on the path to personal growth and healing.
Matt Clark is currently writing a memoir about his life journey and identity quest as a gay Christian and now psychologist. The book will be a combination vignettes, free verse, and other forms of poetry. His book has entered the manuscript stage. Stay tuned. Matt will be posting excerpts of his book in this space.
